2024 PINE LAKE DAM AND BRIDGE PROJECT UPDATE

PINE LAKE ROAD IS CLOSED AT THE DAM. NO THROUGH TRAFFIC

Dam Concrete Construction: Early June through July 31st

Bridge Construction: Early August through November 1st

Dam Gate Installation upon completion of the bridge in the fall

NORTH AND SOUTH TRANSFER STATIONS
Due to the lack of respect for our furniture dumpsters, the Town of Hiles will no longer have that option at our transfer site. This program was designed to give the people an option to get rid of small amounts of furniture or other bulky items. THIS WAS NEVER INTENDED FOR BUILDING MATERIALS, TOILETS, TVS OR WOODEN PIER SECTION.
Both Vilas County on Highway G and Oneida County on Highway K have a landfill which will take these items for a fee

With heavy hearts, the Hiles Service Club has decided to dissolve. It is getting harder and harder to put on the events that they do with fewer and fewer people.
The Town of Hiles thanks the Service Club for all of their hard work over the years that it has done for the community to make it the best place.
